Philips Hue Ceiling Lights
Philips Hue ceiling lights replace the fitting rather than the globe, so the light and the smarts arrive as one piece. Two ranges: Enrave in warm-to-cool white, Infuse in full colour.
Enrave
Warm-to-cool white, 2,450 lm in the medium size. Flat and plain, for bedrooms, hallways and anywhere the fitting should disappear.
Infuse
Full colour, 2,350 lm in the medium size. The one to fit where the light is part of the room rather than just lighting it.
Sizes
Enrave comes in small and medium here, Infuse in medium. Match the size to the room, not the ceiling: a medium is a bedroom or a small living room, a small suits a hallway or an ensuite.
Fitting them
Both are hardwired at 240 V, so a licensed electrician fits them under AS/NZS 3000. Neither needs the Bridge to dim and switch, though scenes across several rooms do.

How much light do I need?
Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts. We've sorted globes into five bands so you can filter by how much light they actually put out, from a soft bedside glow to an outdoor floodlight. Here's what each band covers.

Warm-to-cool or full colour
Enrave's tunable white covers the everyday job: cool and bright through the day, warm and dim at night. Infuse adds colour, which matters in a living room and is wasted in a hallway.

Both ranges join your mains wiring, which is licensed work in Australia under AS/NZS 3000. Book the electrician before the fitting arrives, not after.
