Displine Wall Mounts

Displine

Machined aluminium wall mounts that hold an iPad flush to the wall.

Displine make one thing: wall mounts for iPad. Every one is machined from a solid block of aluminium and then anodised or powder coated, which is why they sit against the tablet instead of gripping it from the outside the way a bracket does. Two of the ranges won German Design Awards in 2025. If you have looked at tablet mounts and found them all plastic, this is the other end of the market.

The range splits on two things. Companion Wall is the value build, powder coated and sitting slightly proud of the iPad. Dame Wall is the premium one, milled from an aluminium block and anodised so the narrow frame sits flush with the iPad, in black, silver, gold, rose gold and titanium. Either can carry the Home suffix, which means an open frame the tablet lifts straight out of, with the charging cable already fitted.

Every mount charges the iPad through the wall. There is a USB-C port or a fitted cable in the mount itself, so you can run it to a nearby power point or put the supply behind the plasterboard and see no cable at all.

Fit goes by iPad body size rather than by product name, so the mount cut for the iPad Air also takes the 11-inch iPad Pro from the first four generations. Each product page lists exactly which models it takes.

These are not smart devices. There is no app, no radio and nothing to pair. What they do is put an iPad on a wall permanently and keep it charged, which is what makes a tablet usable as a home dashboard or a door panel.

Why Displine

Built to be looked at.

Most tablet mounts are plastic parts that grip an iPad from the outside. Displine machines its mounts from solid aluminium and finishes them anodised or powder coated, so the frame sits flush against the tablet and reads as part of the wall rather than something stuck to it. Designed in Germany, produced in the EU by a CNC shop working to automotive quality standards. This is the end of the market where a wall mount is allowed to be seen.

Entryway iPad Wall Mount

A home dashboard by the door

An iPad on the hallway wall showing lights, cameras and the alarm on one screen. Mounted and permanently charging, it stays awake and stays put, which is the difference between a dashboard the household actually uses and an iPad that went flat in a drawer.

Home Assistant iPad Wall Mount

Home Assistant on the wall

A wall-mounted iPad running a Home Assistant dashboard is the cheapest way to get a proper control panel without wiring in a dedicated touchscreen. Permanent power is the part that makes it work, and every Displine mount charges through the frame.

Kitchen iPad Mount

The kitchen screen

Recipes, music and a timer at eye level, off the bench and away from anything wet. The open-frame mounts let you take the iPad down when you want it in your hands and put it back one-handed.

Conference Room iPad wall mount

A door panel or intercom

An iPad by the entry running your camera and lock, in a mount that locks to the wall. This is the case where the anti-theft screw earns its place, and where you want the closed-frame Dame Wall or Companion Wall rather than a Home model.

Fit goes by body size, not by product name, so check the model list on the product page rather than going by the title. The mount cut for the iPad Air also takes the 11-inch iPad Pro from the first to fourth generation, and the standard iPad and the iPad mini each have their own. If you are not sure which iPad you have, Settings, then General, then About shows the model number.

Build and finish. Companion Wall is powder coated and sits slightly proud of the iPad, and it is the better value. Dame Wall is milled from an aluminium block and anodised, with a narrow frame that sits flush against the iPad. They mount the same way and both charge through the wall.

An open frame. Companion Wall Home and Dame Wall Home 2.0 leave one side open so the iPad lifts out with one hand, and both ship with the charging cable already fitted. Dame Wall Home 2.0 also has the rotation unit built in. The trade is that an open frame does not lock.

Yes, on every model. There is a USB-C port or a fitted cable in the mount itself. Run it to a nearby power point, or fit the supply behind the wall so no cable is visible at all.

A suede-like microfibre, the same material used in car interiors. Sunset and Dame Wall Home 2.0 have an Alcantara inlay on the face of the mount, so the aluminium never touches the back of the iPad. The inlay lifts out and can be swapped for another colour.

Only if you want to change between portrait and landscape after it is on the wall. Every mount can be installed either way to begin with. Dame Wall Home 2.0 has rotation built in, and Dame Wall 2.0 and Companion Wall 2.0 take the unit as a separate purchase.
