Shelly 1L Gen3
In Australia, fixed 230 V wiring is licensed-electrician work. Use these diagrams to plan the job and brief your electrician.
How it's wired, terminal by terminal
-
Switch a light, no neutral needed
One circuit, no neutral at the relay
The 1L takes only an active and powers itself through the light circuit. The Shelly Bypass comes in the box and fits across the light; LED lights need it. Sx feeds the wall switches, which return on S1 and S2. S1 and S2 are separate inputs, so a traditional two-way circuit needs rewiring. Up to 200 W, with no step-down transformers.
Terminals for switch a light, no neutral needed on the Shelly 1L Gen3 Terminal What it does here L 230 V active in, the only supply the relay takes O Switched active out to the light, with the Shelly Bypass across the load Sx Switch signal out, loops to the wall switches S1 Wall switch 1 S2 Wall switch 2 Supply: 230 V~ 50 Hz
