It converts 220 to 240 V mains to 24 V DC and feeds up to 40 W of Hue outdoor fixtures, enough for a few pathway lights, a couple of spotlights or a short strip run. For a larger yard, the 100 W supply drives more across two outputs.
One cable runs the whole garden
Hue outdoor lights run on 24 V rather than mains, so there is no electrician for the lights themselves. One outdoor power supply plugs into an ordinary powerpoint and feeds the lot: fixtures and extension cables click together along a single low-voltage cable, and you add to the run later without rewiring anything.
Weatherproof starting point
Rated IP67, it stays outdoors year-round. Fixtures and extension cables are sold separately, with control and colour coming from the Hue lights and a Hue Bridge.
