The 3 m OmniGlow is Hue's higher-output indoor gradient strip, built on micro-LEDs so several colours blend smoothly along one run with no visible dots. It puts out 2,700 lumens at 6500K, enough to work as visible feature lighting rather than only a hidden glow. Being an individually addressable RGBWWIC strip, it shows a gradient of colours at once, not a single colour across the whole run.

This is an individually addressable RGBWWIC strip, so it holds several colours along its length at the same time and blends them into a gradient. That's the difference from the Hue Solo, which shows one colour across the whole run. Pick the OmniGlow when the colour blend is part of the look.
A continuous line, no dots
Micro-LEDs, made with chip-scale packaging, give a smooth line of light with no visible dots. That's why it reads well on show rather than only hidden behind joinery.
Cut to size for feature spots
At 3 m this length suits a shelf, a stair edge, a bench return or a bedhead where the strip is part of the look. It puts out 2,700 lumens at 6500K, bright enough to sit in open view. It's cuttable at the marked points to shorten it to your space. It isn't extendable, so step up to the 5 m OmniGlow if you need a longer single run.
Bluetooth now, Bridge later
Pair over Bluetooth and run it from the Hue app out of the box, up to about ten lights in a room. Add the Hue Bridge, sold separately, for automations, control while you're away, and Matter, Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
