Everything you need to know
The Portable Button is WiZ's simplest control. Two keys give you four actions, and it talks straight to your WiZ lights rather than through the router, so it keeps working when the Wi-Fi doesn't. It runs on two AAA batteries, needs no hub, and is set up in the WiZ app. It controls WiZ lights only.

Four things, and nothing to learn
The top key turns your lights on, the bottom one turns them off. Hold either for more than a second and it brightens or dims instead. That's the whole interface, which is the point: nothing to get wrong reaching for it in the dark.
It doesn't use your router
It sends commands straight to the lights rather than joining your network, so an internet dropout or a router reboot doesn't stop it working. Around 15 metres indoors through normal walls, and it doesn't need to be aimed at anything. The lights still need power, of course.
There's a magnet in the back
Stick the adhesive plate up where a switch should have gone and the button holds itself there, or put it straight onto anything metal. Lift it off and it's a remote for the arm of the couch. No wiring, no electrician, and nothing to undo later.
You choose what it controls
Out of the box it controls every WiZ light in one room, which suits most people. If you'd rather it did something narrower or wider, the app lets you pick exactly which lights answer to it.
